Errors and Omissions
E & O is professional liability coverage that protects your company from claims if your client alleges you are responsible for creating a financial loss as a result of your negligence from any error or omission. This coverage is generally not included in your commercial general liability policy.
Why do you need Errors and Omissions coverage?
Mistakes happen and you want to make sure you are protected. We have put together a program designed specifically for mail and parcel centers.
Common issues include:
- Not abiding by your shipping insurance policy on behalf of a customer.
- Mistyping address information on a shipment.
- Faxing or mailing personal information to the incorrect party.
- General professional liability issues.
Coverage includes legal defense costs and it will pay for any resulting judgments against you, including court costs, up to the coverage limits on your policy.
